International collaboration is vital for health care institutions that want to improve their standard of care within their own borders. This is further supported by international grants such as Horizon Europe and digitalization, which make international collaborations more obtainable.

These international collaboration do however come with their own dynamic and requires institutions to carefully structure their consortium to ensure that they meet relevant grant terms. Even more so, the correct set-up of the collaboration with respects to for example governance is key to the success of any project.

Liance has been engaged in numerous consortia, ranging from relatively small collaborations with a limited number of research sites, to highly complex international PPP projects with partners from all around the world. Our goal is to structure any collaboration in such a way that institutions and researchers can truly meet their project target, without having worry that the contract negotiations will derail their project before it has begun.
